Our love for Goldens began in 1994 with this wonderful boy, Rusty. We adopted Rusty from a local humane society. At 9 months of age, he had a prior "history" we were told, of being too inquisitive and harmful with chickens and small farm animals. Rusty went on to be a strong competitor in the 4-H obedience and showmanship rings led by our son, Chris. He was a fun-loving, intelligent, patient, sweet, amazing dog that broke our family's hearts to say goodbye to when he passed away at 15 years of age.

Over the last 39 years of marriage our family has included other breeds as well; Newfoundland, Husky/German Shepherd mix, Labrador Retriever, Scottish Terrier, Shetland Sheepdog, and German Shepherd.

 

In 2017 we welcomed home our sweet European style Golden Retriever, Luna. During our first year with Luna we renewed our adoration and love for Golden Retrievers and developed an unwavering appreciation for European style Golden Retrievers. Her amazing personality fueled a dream to add a few more Goldens to our family, to begin breeding.

In April, 2018 our gorgeous girl, Maggie, joined our family. Her parents are both certified therapy dogs, as is Maggie. She loves attention and spending time with people. She easily trainable, has a silky soft coat, a king expression, and is a complete love!

 

Murphy arrived in August 2019, coming from Europe, he had a very long journey home. He is a genuinely sweet boy who is a joy to be with. We feel as if he was handpicked especially for us.  His calm therapeutic nature is amazing! Murphy has a gorgeous low maintenance coat, big deep brown eyes, and a desire to be continually at my side.
